Evidence Based Research:

The Gospel of Health and Wellness, Matthew 4:23-24 Jesus came preaching and teaching in the synagogues and healing them of all types of sickness and disease. There is evidence based research that proves if Americans of all races would eat more whole plant based foods and palm size (smaller) portion of animal meat, drink water as a beverage and participate in daily physical body movement we can prevent, reverse and overcome many diseases and illness. The USDA supports this concept in the fact that we no longer have the pyramid guide. The pyramid guide has been replaced by Choose My Plate. Choose My Plate basic guidelines for improved health promote a plate half full with vegetables/fruit. The other half the plate is mostly whole grains and small portion of animal meat. In, addition the American Dietetics Associations’ theme for March 2011 was “Eat With Color”,…. again, highlighting the need for Americans to eat more whole plant based foods and less animal meat and processed foods.

Outcome and Goals: To change statistics regarding the health of all persons and in particular African Americans and Latinos who rank the highest in obesity and all diseases/illness and death from these conditions.
